Saint Joseph Parish Topping Off Ceremony

Downingtown, PA

On Monday, August 20th, 2012, over one hundred parishioners and supporters gathered outside of the site of Saint Joseph's Church in Downingtown, Pennsylvania to celebrate the topping off of their new church.

Attendees stood between the existing church and the site of the new building to watch as the last steel beam was put into place. Weeks before the event, church officials made the final beam available for parishioners to sign and inscribe for a personal touch.

The beam was part of a bell tower that now stands atop the new church. The Monsignor blessed the bell tower with Holy Water before it was lifted and put into place by CH&E steelworkers.

CH&E is proud to be serving as the General Contractor for this exciting project.
